Well on Friday, 25th December 2020 – not only did the spirit of Christmas brighten our hearts but the news of Imagicaa reopening brightened the overall mood. After 9 whole months of lockdown, the themed entertainment destination once again wholeheartedly threw open its doors to the public.
So here’s the exclusive re-opening weekend report and step by step walkthrough of the experience and what you need to know before you visit.
First and foremost – Emotions were at an All-Time High. As masked guests eagerly thronged the park, the equally ecstatic mask adorned staff ushered them in after each guest underwent thermal screening, and indicated themselves as healthy on the Aarogya Setu app. For the very first time after long, every inch and corner of the park echoed with the sound of excitement, happiness, and laughter.
LIMITED CAPACITY, RESERVATIONS REQUIRED
Currently, only the theme park has been opened and is limiting capacity to ensure social distancing norms are met. Taking this a step further, Imagicaa has introduced a new reservation system where the guests (who purchased tickets when Imagicaa Theme Park was non-operational) need to select their visit date in advance. Basis availability, booking confirmation is instant and is to be presented at the time of entry to park.
Those who haven’t yet booked tickets yet, fret not! To celebrate the re-opening, Imagicaa is offering FLAT 30% off on INR 1499 priced Theme Park tickets. On a side note, the park will be operational all days till 3rd January from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm. Thereafter, open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – #WEEKENDCHILL #WEEKENDTHRILL

SAFETY AT EVERY STEP
‘Safety & Hygiene’ has taken a whole new meaning at Imagicaa. Increased frequency of cleaning and disinfection is in place particularly frequent and deep sanitization of rides. To minimize crowd intermingling, guests will now need to also reserve their ride spot via Virtual Queuing on the Imagicaa app. So far we have borne witness to alternate seating mechanism in public transport and restaurants. This has found its root in Imagicaa too with ride and tables alternately marked for maintaining social distancing.
Guests get to enjoy their food stress-free by ordering via the in-park app on phones and pay online. Contactless payment modes have been integrated across the park including ticketing counter and retail outlets.
WHOLESOME FUN-N-ENTERTAINMENT
Holding onto its core promise, the entertainment continues as before. All outdoor rides including crowd favorites Nitro, Scream Machine are operational while only a few indoor attractions are in service in line with government directives and approval. Fun-filled activities to keep guests enthralled have been re-instated including Flash mob, Tubbby’s Secret Party, dance performances, and character meet-n-greet while keeping a safe distance. Moreover, Christmas décor and sparkling lights give a celebratory touch and vibe, adding vibrancy to the overall ambiance.
