Photographs for Phase 1 will be adjudged on:

  • Theme relevance
  • Qualitative evaluation by Imagicaa team

Team Imagicaa will shortlist participants and send out invites for Phase 2

  • Candid / Portraits/ Expressions of guests on the ride. Capture the most interesting real and happy expressions of people at Imagicaa Rides and enjoying the park
  • Capture Imagicaa. All the beauty, All the Rides, All Fun and All The Joy
  • Visit Imagicaa
  • Shortlisted participants will be invited to visit Imagicaa on 19 Aug 2023 (World Photography Day) to capture their images.
  • Entry is free for shortlisted participants + 1; Imagicaa will provide Free entry for 2 people to the Theme + Water Park to each participant
  • Imagicaa will not sponsor travel or F&B.
  • Capture & select photos
  • Participants can use the entire day to capture images.
  • You need not post photos on the 19th Aug itself, however the sooner you post the better – in addition to quality, entries will also be evaluated on social sharing score.
  • Post to social media
  • Select 5 of your photos, and post them to your publicly accessible Instagram account
  • Posted photos must be based on theme.
  • All entries must have #CaptureImagicaa & tag @imagicaaworld
  • Submit Phase 2 form
  • Submit the Phase 2 form with links to your social media posts and links to the hi-res photos used for each post.
  • The link to the form will be emailed to participants on 20 Aug 2023.
  • You must fulfill all sharing and form submission requirements by 22 Aug 2023.

Grand Prize
1 (one) winner will be awarded:

No. It is necessary for your account to be public as it will help your photo feature in branded hashtags and allow us access to it.

Participants will be judged on 2 criteria:
The photograph should adhere to the theme given by Imagicaa .
Photo must be of high quality.
Social media score (number of reactions) of your entry will be an advantage.

Editor’s Choice: Imagicaa panel will go through every single photo and select the best shots. The number of reaction does not hold any advantage here. Adherence to the theme will be considered.

Yes, this is required. Basis the terms and conditions, the high-res/raw files are the repository of Imagicaa and it is required to submit (transfer) these files of photographs used as entries in the competition.

No. Participants need to get their own equipment.

DSRL, multiple lenses, tripods and flash lights are allowed.
GoPros are allowed only with proper supports and harness, subject to approval by ride operators and safety teams.
Drones are not allowed.

Yes.

Acceptable size for DSLR should support minimum 12 x 18 inches prints, and have a minimum of 300 DPI resolution.
Acceptable size for smartphone is minimum 12MP resolution.

No. Due to security reasons, you are not allowed to take camera on rides.

Shortlisted candidates will be sent an email confirmation on 14th August.

You can upload your selected photographs (minimum 5) of Imagicaa clicked on 19th August, 2023 to your social media account on or before 22nd August, 2023.

Winners will be declared on 28th August, 2023.

You will have to share your PAN card, Aadhaar card details, and current address with Imagicaa to claim the prizes.

Terms

In addition to standard terms and rules, the following apply.

  • Confirmation emails to the shortlisted candidates will have details of date of visit to Imagicaa Park and other details for Phase 2 of the Contest.
  • Shortlisted Participants will be given entry to the Park, only if the participant provides the confirmation email containing 16 digit unique code at the Imagicaa’s admission counter on the date of visit.
  • Shortlisted Participants will get Free Regular entry to Theme Park and Water Park for 19th August, 2023.
  • Participants shall arrange for his/her Food and Travel to the Park.
  • Visit to the Park for Phase 2 of the Contest will be held on 19th August, 2023.
  • Participant alone shall be responsible for any loss, damage, malfunction, etc. to their equipment brought inside the Park for the Contest.
  • Participants must upload their best Photographs of Imagicaa on or before 22nd August, 2023
  • Shortlisting process for the final winners of the Contest shall begin on 22nd August, 2023
  • Selection/Shortlisting process for Phase 2 of the Contest shall be carried on the basis of following criteria:
  • Social media score (total reactions received on social media) of the uploaded photograph before contest end time
  • Editor’s Choice
    • Two finalists will be selected based on theme
    • Of all participants in Phase 2, Imagicaa will select 5 finalists and 1 Grand Prize Winner.
  • Grand Prize Winner
    • Selected on basis of Editor’s Choice + Popular Demand scoring the highest will receive below mentioned rewards:
      • Cash Prize worth ₹20,000/- only, issued in the form of cheque
      • One night stay at Novotel Imagicaa for 2 adults;
      • 02 Regular entry tickets to Theme + Water Park
      • One ₹1000/- worth of merchandise goodie bag
      • Printed photo in Imagicaa frame
      • Winner’s certificate of appreciation & participation
  • Finalists:

  • Participants:

    • Participant shall comply with Imagicaa’s rules and regulations.
    • Imagicaa reserves the right to change, update, discontinue, or otherwise revise the contest or its terms at its discretion without prior notice.
    • Participant agrees and acknowledges that Imagicaaworld Entertainment Limited has absolute right, title and interest on the Photographs captured by Participant inside Imagicaa. Imagicaaworld Entertainment Limited shall have unconditional right to use the above referred photographs for its promotion, media and for any other purpose perpetually and across the world.
